Hummingbird Springs Farm Tree Planting and Giveaway

https://fb.me/e/51iw6bZoC

Hummingbird Springs in a 31 acre indigenous food forest in the making in Florala, Al, with native plants and plant biodiversity as our priority.

The farm was previously a mono-culture peanut farm that was in the same family for 3 generations, and over 120 years. In the last year, we have planted over 100 trees, which isn't even a drop in the bucket to reforest 31 acres.

We have recently ordered over 1300 native trees from the Missouri Department of Conservation to plant here at Hummingbird Springs Farm (yes, 1300... its a long and funny story) and we need your help planting them!!!

We will provide food and drinks, port-a- potties, running water and plenty of space to set up a tent and camp out for the weekend if you wish. We have two stocked ponds where you can fish or swim, and if the skies are clear, a gorgeous view of the milky way! We will also give up to 5 trees (Bald Cypress or Eastern Red Cedar) to each person/family that volunteers to help plant trees!

Please spread the word and invite your friends!!
